सूर्यरथनिर्णयः (चन्द्रस्य पक्षवृद्धिक्षयविधानम्)

स पौर्णमास्यां दृश्येत शुक्लः सम्पूर्णमण्डलः एवमाप्यायितं सोमं शुक्लपक्षे दिनक्रमात्

sa paurṇamāsyāṃ dṛśyeta śuklaḥ sampūrṇamaṇḍalaḥ evamāpyāyitaṃ somaṃ śuklapakṣe dinakramāt

پُورنماشی کی رات وہ روشن، مکمل قرص کے ساتھ دکھائی دیتا ہے۔ اسی طرح شُکل پکش میں سوم دن بہ دن ترتیب سے پرورش پاتا ہے۔
