FAQs

It frames cosmic order—lands, rulers, and rightful divisions—as the stable ground on which Shiva’s worship (Linga-puja) and Vedic rites can be properly established and sustained.

Implicitly, it reflects Shiva as Pati—the supreme regulator—because orderly division and legitimate consecration mirror the higher governance that liberates the pashu from chaos and bondage (pāśa) through dharmic structure.

Abhiṣeka (consecratory anointing/installation) is highlighted—an archetype for Shaiva abhiṣeka of the Linga and for initiating disciplined authority and self-mastery aligned with Pashupata restraint.
