जम्बूद्वीपस्य नववर्षविभागः रुद्रस्य अष्टक्षेत्रसन्निधिः नाभि-ऋषभ-भरतकथा
इति श्रीलिङ्गमहापुराणे पूर्वभागे भुवनकोशे द्वीपद्वीपेश्वरकथनं नाम षट्चत्वारिंशो ऽध्यायः सूत उवाच आग्नीध्रं ज्येष्ठदायादं काम्यपुत्रं महाबलम् प्रियव्रतो ऽभ्यषिञ्चद्वै जंबूद्वीपेश्वरं नृपः
iti śrīliṅgamahāpurāṇe pūrvabhāge bhuvanakośe dvīpadvīpeśvarakathanaṃ nāma ṣaṭcatvāriṃśo 'dhyāyaḥ sūta uvāca āgnīdhraṃ jyeṣṭhadāyādaṃ kāmyaputraṃ mahābalam priyavrato 'bhyaṣiñcadvai jaṃbūdvīpeśvaraṃ nṛpaḥ
یوں شری لِنگ مہاپُران کے پُروَ بھاگ، بھونکوش میں ‘دویپوں اور دویپیشوروں کا بیان’ نامی چھیالیسواں ادھیائے۔ سوت نے کہا—راجا پریہ ورت نے اپنے جَیَشٹھ وارث، کامیا کے پُتر، مہابلی آگنی دھْر کا ابھیشیک کرکے اسے جمبودویپ کا ادھپتی بنایا۔
