संमोहं त्यज भो विष्णो पालयैनं पितामहम् पाद्मे भविष्यति सुतः कल्पे तव पितामहः
saṃmohaṃ tyaja bho viṣṇo pālayainaṃ pitāmaham pādme bhaviṣyati sutaḥ kalpe tava pitāmahaḥ
اے وِشنو! یہ فریبِ نظر چھوڑ دو اور اس پِتامہ برہما کی حفاظت کرو۔ پدم-کلپ میں وہ پھر تمہارا بیٹا ہوگا، اور اسی کلپ کے چکر میں تمہارا پِتامہ بھی کہلائے گا۔

It frames Brahmā and Viṣṇu as role-bound within kalpas—shifting as son and grandsire—implying that the steadfast refuge is the transcendent Pati (Śiva) worshipped as the Liṅga beyond cyclical status.
By highlighting the relativity of Brahmā–Viṣṇu identities across kalpas, it indirectly points to Śiva-tattva as the unchanging ground: Pati, untouched by saṃmoha (delusion) and not confined to cosmic offices.
The key practice is saṃmoha-tyāga—renunciation of delusion, a core Pāśupata-oriented discipline where the paśu (soul) loosens pāśa (bondage) through right discernment and devotion to Pati.
