आदित्यं चरुं निरवपन् । तेनैवैनं पापात्स्रामादमुञ्चन् । यः पापयक्ष्मगृहीतः स्यात् तस्मा एतमादित्यं चरुं निर्वपेत् । अमुमेवैनमाप्यायमानमन्वाप्याययति । नवोनवो भवति जायमान इति पुरोऽनुवाक्या भवति । आयुरेवास्मिंस्तया दधाति । यमादित्या अंसुमाप्याययन्तीति याज्यैवैनमेतया प्याययति ॥
They poured out an oblation for the Adityas; thereby they released him from sin and from wasting. If one be seized by sinful wasting, for him should one pour out this oblation for the Adityas; him, as he is being strengthened, he strengthens further. 'Ever new he becomes as he is born'—that is the pre-invocation; thereby he bestows life upon him. 'Whom the Adityas strengthen with a ray'—that is the offering-formula; thereby with it he strengthens him.
