श्रीकृष्ण उवाच / अकृत्वा तु वृषोत्सर्गं कुरुते पिण्डपातनम् / नोपतिष्ठति तच्छ्रेयो दातुः प्रेतस्य निष्फलम्

شری کرشن نے فرمایا—ورشوتسرگ کیے بغیر جو پِنڈ دان کرتا ہے، اس کا مطلوبہ شریہ داتا کو نہیں ملتا؛ داتا کے لیے پُنّیہ نہیں بنتا اور پریت کے لیے وہ بے ثمر رہتا ہے۔
