धूर्पैर्दीपैर्भक्ष्यभोज्यैश्च पुष्पैः पूजां कृत्वा विद्यमानश्च गेहे / यदा तदा यमदूतैश्च बद्ध्वा संताड्यमाने वेणुपाशादिभिश्च

دھوپ، دیپ، نذرانۂ طعام اور پھولوں سے پوجا کر کے، گھر میں رہتے ہوئے بھی—کسی وقت—یم کے دوت اسے باندھ کر بانس کی رسی کے پھندوں (وینو پاش) وغیرہ سے مارتے ہیں۔
