nāmaikacatvāriṃśo 'dhyāyaḥ hariruvāca / pavitrāropaṇaṃ vakṣye sivasyāśivanāśanam / ācāryaḥ sādhakaḥ kuryātputrakaḥ samayī hara

اکتالیسواں باب۔ ہری نے فرمایا—“میں پَوِتر آروپن (مقدس دھاگہ/تعویذ چڑھانے) کی رسم بیان کرتا ہوں، جو شیو سے وابستہ ہو کر اَشِو (نحوست) کو مٹاتی ہے۔ اے ہَر، اسے آچاریہ یا سادھک انجام دے؛ نیز پُترک اور سَمَیی بھی انجام دیں۔”
