FAQs

This verse frames Vishnu as the supreme protector—His recognizable attributes (crown, earrings, vanamālā, and Sudarśana) support devotional remembrance (smaraṇa) and meditative focus.

Indirectly, it emphasizes refuge in Vishnu: remembering the all-pervading Lord and His protective power is presented as spiritually stabilizing amid teachings on dharma and post-death realities elsewhere in the Purana.

Use the verse as a short dhyāna/namaskāra: contemplate Vishnu’s protective presence (vibhu) and align daily conduct with dharma through steady remembrance.
