انسان اپنے دل میں پنچ تتوؤں سے یکت وِشنو کا دھیان کرے؛ پھر دیوتا کا وسرجن کرے—اسی کو پوجا کہا گیا ہے۔
Lord Viṣṇu (in instruction to Garuḍa/Vinatā-putra)
Concept: Pañca-tattva integration and antaryāmin-dhyāna; worship as internalization leading to steadiness and purification.
Vedantic Theme: Antaryāmin (inner controller) contemplation; seeing the cosmos (bhūtas) as pervaded by Vishnu supports non-dual vision-in-practice.
Application: During daily worship, add a brief pañca-bhūta contemplation (earth-water-fire-air-space) and conclude with mindful closure/visarjana rather than abrupt ending.
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
Type: inner shrine / temple setting
Related Themes: Garuda Purana 1.32.38 (illumination in the heart); Garuda Purana 1.32.39 (stuti as practice)
This verse states that worship is completed by meditating on Viṣṇu within the heart and then formally dismissing the deity’s invoked presence, indicating ritual closure is part of correct pūjā.
While not describing after-death travel directly, it emphasizes inner meditation and disciplined ritual action—foundational practices that the Purāṇa links with purification, merit, and spiritual readiness.
During pūjā, include a brief internal meditation on Viṣṇu and end with a respectful closure (visarjana/udvāsana), avoiding abrupt endings and treating worship as a complete, mindful process.
