देवाग्निसखिपत्यंशुक्रोष्टुस्वायम्भुवः पिता / ना प्रशस्ताश्चरा गौर्ग्लौरबजन्ताश्च पुंस्यपि

‘پِتا’ (باپ) کے لفظ کا ربط دیوتا، اگنی، دوست، پتی/حامی، شُکر، اُشٹُو اور سوایمبھُو وغیرہ سے بیان کیا گیا ہے۔ مگر جو گائے آوارہ پھرے وہ مبارک نہیں سمجھی جاتی؛ اور مرد میں بھی بےقراری، چنچل بھٹکنا اور اضطراب قابلِ تعریف نہیں۔
