This verse shows that the Garuda Purana also preserves practical conduct-guidance, including simple medicinal prescriptions (like warm ghee and herbs) to prevent harmful bodily imbalance.
Indirectly: by emphasizing bodily balance and disciplined living, it supports dharmic life, which the Garuda Purana treats as foundational for one’s post-death condition and karmic trajectory.
It encourages preventive care through simple, traditional diet-herb measures and a balanced lifestyle; any herbal use should be aligned with competent Ayurvedic guidance.
