This verse shows that the Garuda Purana also preserves practical healing guidance—linking righteous living with maintaining the body through traditional herbal preparations.
Indirectly: by emphasizing bodily well-being through dharmic, traditional medicine, it supports the broader Purana theme that a healthy, disciplined life aids spiritual practice and right conduct.
Use it as a traditional reference point: consult a qualified Ayurveda practitioner before using guḍūcī or other herbs, especially for metabolic/urinary issues, and adopt disciplined diet and lifestyle alongside treatment.
