This verse shows the Purana also preserves practical dharmic living through health guidance—using specific herbal/alkaline preparations for skin disorders and pain relief.
It does not describe afterlife doctrine here; instead, it focuses on sustaining the body through remedies, which supports righteous living and ritual capacity in worldly life.
Treat it as a traditional reference: consult a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner before using alkali-based pastes or internal formulations, especially for chronic skin disease or back pain.
