Transliteration

nidānaṃ suśruta ! mayā ātreyoktaṃ samīritam / sarvarogavivekāya narādyāyuḥ pravṛddhaye

Translation

اے سُشروت! میں نے آتریہ کے بتائے ہوئے نِدان (سبب و تشخیص) کو بیان کیا ہے، تاکہ تمام امراض کی پہچان ہو اور انسان وغیرہ کی عمر میں افزائش ہو۔
