नक्षत्रदर्शनान्नक्तमनक्तं निशि भोजनम् / गोमूत्रं च पल दद्यादर्धाङ्गुष्ठं तु गोमयम्

نکشتر درشن کے بعد رات کا کھانا ‘نکت’ کہلاتا ہے؛ ورنہ رات میں کھانا ‘انکت’ (ناجائز/ناشایست) ہے۔ پرायशچت میں ایک پل گوموتر اور آدھے انگوٹھے کے برابر گوبر دینا چاہیے۔
