एकं भस्म धृतं येन तस्य पुण्यफलं शृणु । यतीनां ज्ञानदं प्रोक्तं वानस्थानां विरक्तिदम्

ekaṃ bhasma dhṛtaṃ yena tasya puṇyaphalaṃ śṛṇu | yatīnāṃ jñānadaṃ proktaṃ vānasthānāṃ viraktidam

جس نے بھسم کا ایک نشان بھی لگایا ہو، اس کے ثواب کا پھل سنو۔ یہ سنیاسیوں (یتیوں) کے لیے علم عطا کرنے والا اور وان پرستھوں کے لیے دنیا سے بے رغبتی پیدا کرنے والا کہا گیا ہے۔
