एतेन पूजाविधिना मासान् द्वादश हायनम् । नीत्वाथोपरमेत्साध्वी कार्तिके चरमेऽहनि ॥ २१ ॥

Transliteration

etena pūjā-vidhinā māsān dvādaśa hāyanam nītvāthoparamet sādhvī kārtike carame ’hani

Translation

اس پوجا-ودھی کے مطابق پاکدامن بیوی کو بارہ مہینے، یعنی ایک سال، لگاتار بھکتی سیوا کرنی چاہیے۔ ایک سال پورا ہونے پر کارتک مہینے کی پورنیما کے دن روزہ رکھ کر ورت کا اختتام کرے۔
