रहूगण त्वमपि ह्यध्वनोऽस्य सन्न्यस्तदण्ड: कृतभूतमैत्र: । असज्जितात्मा हरिसेवया शितं ज्ञानासिमादाय तरातिपारम् ॥ २० ॥

Transliteration

rahūgaṇa tvam api hy adhvano ’sya sannyasta-daṇḍaḥ kṛta-bhūta-maitraḥ asaj-jitātmā hari-sevayā śitaṁ jñānāsim ādāya tarāti-pāram

Translation

اے رہوگن! تم بھی اسی کششِ لذّت کے راستے میں بیرونی طاقت کے شکار ہو۔ اس لیے سب جانداروں کے لیے یکساں دوست بننے کی خاطر میں تمہیں نصیحت کرتا ہوں کہ بادشاہی منصب اور سزا کا ڈنڈا چھوڑ دو۔ حواس کے موضوعات کی رغبت ترک کرو اور ہری کی سیوا سے تیز کیا ہوا علم کا شمشیر اٹھاؤ؛ تب تم مایا کی سخت گرہ کاٹ کر جہالت کے سمندر کے پار جا سکو گے۔
