FAQs

This verse shows Lord Kṛṣṇa honoring a trusted well-wisher as “our highest vision,” and asking him to state what should be done—teaching that wise, truth-knowing counsel should be sought and faithfully followed.

In the narrative context of Kṛṣṇa’s royal duties in Dvārakā, He acknowledges the advisor as a true friend who understands the real meaning of counsel, and thus requests clear direction on the proper course of action.

Seek guidance from a genuine well-wisher who understands principles and consequences, then act with steadiness—faithfully implementing what is right rather than acting impulsively.
