Kṛṣṇa Leads Kālayavana to Mucukunda; The Yavana Is Burned; Mucukunda’s Prayers and Boon of Bhakti
In this verse, Lord Kṛṣṇa praises the king for remaining pure and steady—showing that even attractive boons should not distract one’s intelligence when one is detached from worldly desires.
After Mucukunda encountered Kṛṣṇa and sought higher truth, Kṛṣṇa acknowledged his inner purity and renunciation, highlighting that his mind was not diverted even when boons were available.
Use opportunities and rewards without becoming mentally owned by them—keep priorities fixed on dharma and devotion, so gains, offers, or “boons” don’t disturb your clarity or values.
