एवं सप्तदशकृत्वस्तावत्यक्षौहिणीबल: । युयुधे मागधो राजा यदुभि: कृष्णपालितै: ॥ ४१ ॥

evaṁ saptadaśa-kṛtvas tāvaty akṣauhiṇī-balaḥ yuyudhe māgadho rājā yadubhiḥ kṛṣṇa-pālitaiḥ

Translation

یوں مگدھ کا راجا سترہ بار اسی طرح شکست کھاتا رہا؛ پھر بھی وہ اپنی اَکشوہِنی فوجی جماعتوں کے ساتھ، شری کرشن کے زیرِ حفاظت یَدُوؤں کے خلاف لڑتا ہی رہا۔
