It depicts Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma entering Mathurā along the royal road, surrounded by Their friends, while the city women rush to see Them and climb rooftops in eager excitement.
Because Kṛṣṇa’s arrival created intense eagerness for darśana; the women hurried to higher places like rooftops and palace terraces to catch a clear view of Him and Balarāma.
Cultivate sincere eagerness to seek the Lord’s presence—making time and taking practical steps (like the women did) to gain darśana through kīrtana, śāstra study, and temple worship.
