The Pracetās Meet Lord Viṣṇu—Benedictions, Pure Prayer, and the Birth of Dakṣa

यत्र नारायण: साक्षाद्भगवान्न्यासिनां गति: । संस्तूयते सत्कथासु मुक्तसङ्गै: पुन: पुन: ॥ ३६ ॥

جہاں آزاد دل بھکت ست کتھا میں بار بار بھگوان نارائن کے نام و گُن کا سنکیرتن کرتے ہیں، وہاں ساکشات نارائن جلوہ گر ہوتے ہیں؛ وہی سنیاسیوں کی پرم گتی ہیں۔

The Māyāvādī sannyāsīs are missing the real presence of Nārāyaṇa. This is because they falsely claim to be Nārāyaṇa Himself. According to the customary etiquette of Māyāvādī sannyāsīs, they address one another as Nārāyaṇa. To say that everyone is a temple of Nārāyaṇa is correct, but to accept another human being as Nārāyaṇa is a great offense. The conception of daridra-nārāyaṇa (poor Nārāyaṇa), an attempt to identify the poor with Nārāyaṇa, is also a great offense. Even to identify Nārāyaṇa with demigods like Lord Brahmā and Lord Śiva is an offense:

This verse states that Lord Nārāyaṇa Himself is the gati—the supreme shelter and destination—of the renounced, and that liberated souls repeatedly glorify Him through pure spiritual discussions.

Because those who are free from material attachment (mukta-saṅga) naturally relish and repeatedly glorify the Lord in saintly narrations, as such hari-kathā sustains devotion and leads to the highest refuge.

Seek sat-saṅga, regularly hear and speak hari-kathā, and reduce material attachments—then make the repeated remembrance and glorification of Nārāyaṇa a steady daily practice.
