FAQs

This verse recalls that the unborn Lord, in His original boar form (Ādi-sūkara/Varāha), lifted Bhūmi-devī from the waters of Rasātala to re-establish the universe.

While addressing Pṛthu, Earth glorifies the Supreme Lord’s past protection of her, reminding that her well-being and the world’s order depend on divine maintenance, which Pṛthu serves as the Lord’s empowered king.

Remembering that the world’s stability ultimately rests on the Supreme helps cultivate humility, gratitude, and responsible stewardship—protecting land, resources, and society as sacred trust rather than mere property.
