Prelude to Pṛthu
puṣpārṇasya prabhā bhāryā doṣā ca dve babhūvatuḥ prātar madhyandinaṁ sāyam iti hy āsan prabhā-sutāḥ
They are the three sons born to Prabhā, the wife of Puṣpārṇa—named after the divisions of time: morning, midday, and evening.
It continues the genealogical narration of Dhruva Mahārāja’s dynasty by naming Puṣpārṇa’s wives and the sons born from Prabhā.
It highlights the Vedic habit of honoring time and order—encouraging disciplined daily rhythms (morning, midday, evening) that support sādhana and dharmic living.
