एतत् कल्पविकल्पस्य प्रमाणं परिकीर्तितम् । यत्र मन्वन्तराण्याहुश्चतुर्दश पुराविद: ॥ ११ ॥

Transliteration

etat kalpa-vikalpasya pramāṇaṁ parikīrtitam yatra manvantarāṇy āhuś caturdaśa purāvidaḥ

Translation

اے بادشاہ! ایک کَلپ، یعنی برہما کے ایک دن میں ‘وِکَلپ’ کہلانے والی بہت سی تبدیلیاں ہوتی ہیں؛ اس کی دلیل میں نے پہلے ہی بیان کر دی ہے۔ قدیمات کے جاننے والے علما نے طے کیا ہے کہ برہما کے ایک دن میں چودہ منونتر ہوتے ہیں۔
