अर्जुनस्य अन्त्येष्टि, द्वारकाप्लावनम्, कलिप्रवेशः, कालोपदेशः
जितेष्व् असुरसंघेषु मेरुपृष्ठे महोत्सवः बभूव तत्र गच्छन्त्यो ददृशुस् तं सुरस्त्रियः
jiteṣv asurasaṃgheṣu merupṛṣṭhe mahotsavaḥ babhūva tatra gacchantyo dadṛśus taṃ surastriyaḥ
Nang magapi ang mga pangkat ng mga Asura, sumiklab ang isang dakilang pagdiriwang sa mga dalisdis ng Meru. Habang patungo roon ang mga dalagang makalangit, nakita nila siya roon.

Meru functions as the cosmic axis and divine locale; placing the festival on Meru signals a restoration of universal order after the Asuras’ defeat.
He presents it as a turning-point event—once the Asura hosts are subdued, harmony returns and the gods’ realm resumes auspicious rites such as festivals on Meru.
Even when Vishnu is not named in the verse, the victory and renewed cosmic celebration are understood within the Purana’s framework: dharma prevails ultimately under Vishnu’s supreme ordering power.
