घृतोदाद् द्विगुणः प्रोक्तः क्रौञ्चद्वीपो निशाचर ततो ऽपि द्विगुणः प्रोक्तः समुद्रो दधिसंज्ञितः
ghṛtodād dviguṇaḥ proktaḥ krauñcadvīpo niśācara tato 'pi dviguṇaḥ proktaḥ samudro dadhisaṃjñitaḥ
O Niśācara, ang Krauñca-dvīpa ay sinasabing dalawang ulit ang lawak kaysa sa karagatan ng ghṛta. Higit pa roon, ang karagatang tinatawag na “Dadhi” (gatas na pinaasim/yogurt) ay ipinahahayag na dalawang ulit ang laki.
