Harihara Revelation and the Kurukshetra Tirtha Cycle: Sthanu in Vishnu and the Sanctification of Saptasarasvata

A child born to a Brāhmaṇa father and a Śūdra mother is designated ‘Pāraśava’ in this verse, regardless of whether the mother is formally married or not.
It clarifies that the social designation is determined by parentage (lineage combination) rather than the marital status of the mother in this specific definition.
As presented, it is primarily definitional (naming a category). Prescriptions about conduct, rights, or ritual eligibility—if any—would typically appear in surrounding verses.
