यथा मूढो यथा मूर्खो यथा बधिर एव वा ।
तथा वर्तेत लोकस्य स्वसामर्थ्यस्य गुप्तये ॥

यथा । मूढः । यथा । मूर्खः । यथा । बधिरः । एव । वा ।
तथा । वर्तेत । लोकस्य । स्व-सामर्थ्यस्य । गुप्तये ।
IAST Transliteration
yathā mūḍho yathā mūrkho yathā badhira eva vā |
tathā varteta lokasya svasāmarthyasya guptaye ||
Translation
Gaya ng taong mapurol, gaya ng taong mangmang, o gaya ng tunay na bingi—ganyan dapat kumilos sa harap ng mundo, upang maitago ang sariling kapangyarihan.
Academic Translation
As one who is dull, as one who is foolish, or as one who is indeed deaf—so should one behave toward the world, for the concealment of one’s own powers.
