इन्द्रियाणि हयानाहुर्विषयांस्तेषु गोचरान्। जङ्गमानि विमानानि हृदयानि मनीषिणः॥४॥

Padapatha (Word Split)

इन्द्रियाणि । हयान् । आहुः । विषयान् । तेषु । गोचरान् । जङ्गमानि । विमानानि । हृदयानि । मनीषिणः ॥

IAST Transliteration

indriyāṇi hayān āhur viṣayāṁs teṣu gocarān | jaṅgamāni vimānāni hṛdayāni manīṣiṇaḥ ||4||

Translation

Ang mga pandama, wika nila, ay mga kabayo; ang mga bagay ng pandama ang kanilang saklaw at dinaraanan. Sinasabi rin ng marurunong na ang mga puso ay mga vimāna, mga sasakyang panghimpapawid na gumagalaw.

Academic Translation

The senses, they say, are horses; the objects (of sense) are their ranges of movement. The wise (also say) that the hearts are moving aerial cars (vimānas).
