Śiva-jñāna and the Non-dual Vision of a Śiva-maya Universe (शिवज्ञानम्—सर्वं शिवमयम्)
यथाग्निर्व्यापकश्चैव काष्ठेकाष्ठे च तिष्ठति । यो वै मंथति तत्काष्ठं स वै पश्यत्यसंशयम्
yathāgnirvyāpakaścaiva kāṣṭhekāṣṭhe ca tiṣṭhati | yo vai maṃthati tatkāṣṭhaṃ sa vai paśyatyasaṃśayam
Gaya ng apoy na laganap ngunit nakatago sa bawat piraso ng kahoy, gayon din ang Panginoon ay nananahan sa lahat. Ngunit ang nagkikiskis at “nagpapaliyab” sa kahoy na iyon—ang nagsasagawa ng disiplinadong pagsasanay—ay tiyak na makakakita sa Kanya, walang pag-aalinlangan.

It teaches that Shiva, the indwelling Pati, is present everywhere like fire latent in wood; realization arises through sincere sadhana—mantra, meditation, and devotion—rather than mere intellectual belief.
The Linga is the visible support for worship that helps the devotee ‘churn’ the mind through puja and japa; by Saguna upasana, one is led to recognize Shiva’s subtle, all-pervading presence within all beings.
Regular Panchakshara japa (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with steady dhyana is implied—like churning wood—often supported by Linga worship and, where prescribed, vibhuti (Tripundra) and rudraksha as aids to focused Shaiva practice.
