Śiva-jñāna and the Non-dual Vision of a Śiva-maya Universe (शिवज्ञानम्—सर्वं शिवमयम्)
सर्वं व्याप्य शिवः साक्षाद् व्यापकः सर्वजन्तुषु । चेतनाचेतनेशोपि सर्वत्र शंकरस्स्वयम्
sarvaṃ vyāpya śivaḥ sākṣād vyāpakaḥ sarvajantuṣu | cetanācetaneśopi sarvatra śaṃkarassvayam
Si Shiva Mismo, hayag na hayag, ay lumalaganap at sumasaklaw sa lahat. Siya ang Ganap na Presensya sa loob ng lahat ng nilalang; bilang Panginoon ng may kamalayan at walang kamalayan, si Shankara lamang ang umiiral sa lahat ng dako bilang mismong Sarili.

It teaches Shiva-tattva as omnipresent: Shiva is not confined to a single form or place but is the indwelling Lord of all beings and all states of existence, leading the seeker toward non-dual devotion and liberation.
The Linga is a sacred focus for Saguna worship, yet this verse clarifies that the one worshipped is also Nirguna in essence—pervading all. Linga-puja becomes a doorway to recognizing Shiva everywhere, not merely in the sanctum.
Practice inward recollection while repeating the Panchakshara (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), contemplating Shiva’s presence in all beings and even in insentient creation; let this bhavana accompany temple worship and daily conduct.
