Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: teaching
It explains Niyati as a divine power that enforces “must do/must not do,” showing how the soul’s freedom is narrowed into regulated, limited experience—one of the key bonds (pāśa) overcome through Shiva’s grace.
By recognizing Niyati as Shiva’s śakti, the devotee shifts from egoic doership to surrender before Saguna Shiva (worshipped as the Linga), seeking purification of bondage and the Lord’s liberating anugraha (grace).
Contemplate the rise of “I must/I must not” as a binding force, then offer it into Shiva through Panchakshara japa (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and Linga worship, cultivating non-doership and reliance on Shiva’s grace.
