मधुवनभङ्गः
The Disruption of Madhuvana and Dadhimukha’s Complaint
एते तिष्ठन्तु गच्छामो भर्ता नो यत्र वानरः।सुग्रीवो विपुलग्रीवः सह रामेण तिष्ठति।।5.62.31।।
ete tiṣṭhantu gacchāmo bhartā no yatra vānaraḥ |
sugrīvo vipulagrīvaḥ saha rāmeṇa tiṣṭhati ||5.62.31||
“Hayaan silang manatili rito. Tayo’y pupunta sa kinaroroonan ng ating panginoon, ang haring Vānara na si Sugrīva na malapad ang leeg, na nananatili kasama ni Rāma.”
"Let them stay here. Our broad-necked king Sugriva will be there with Rama. Let us go to him.
Accountability to rightful authority: dharma requires reporting disturbances to the king, and seeking lawful resolution rather than private retaliation.
Dadhimukha instructs his men to stay while he goes to inform Sugrīva, who is with Rāma.
Responsibility and truth-oriented governance: he chooses to escalate the matter to the proper ruler for judgment.
