द्रुमाद्द्रुमं केचिदभिद्रवन्ते क्षितौ नगाग्रान्निपतन्ति केचित्।महीतलात्केचिदुदीर्णवेगा महाद्रुमाग्राण्यभिसम्पतन्ति।।।।

drumād drumaṁ kecid abhidravante kṣitau nagāgrān nipatanti kecit | mahītalāt kecid udīrṇavegā mahādrumāgrāṇy abhisampatanti ||

Ang ilan ay dumaluhong mula sa punò patungo sa punò; ang ilan ay nahulog sa lupa mula sa matataas na tuktok. Ang ilan, mula sa lupa’y nag-ipon ng matinding bilis, at muling lumundag hanggang sa mga tuktok ng malalaking punò.
