ते तद्वनमुपागम्य बभूवुः परमोत्कटाः।वानरा वानरेन्द्रस्य मनः कान्ततमं महत्।।।।

te tad vanam upāgamya babhūvuḥ paramotkaṭāḥ | vānarā vānarendrasya manaḥ kāntatamaṁ mahat ||

Pagdating nila sa gubat na yaon—ang malawak at pinakakaibig-ibig na halamanang lubhang mahal sa puso ng hari ng mga Vānara—ang mga Vānara ay napuspos ng matinding galak.
