Hanuman understood the message of princess Sita and felt delighted at heart at his accomplishment. Considering the small task yet to be accomplished he reached the northern shore mentally (He thought of Rama who waited in Kishkinda which is in the northern direction).ityārṣē śrīmadrāmāyaṇē vālmīkīya ādikāvyē sundarakāṇḍē catvāriṅśassargaḥ৷৷Thus ends the fortieth sarga of Sundarakanda of the holy Ramayana, the first epic composed by sage Valmiki.
Dharma is conscientious completion of duty: Hanumān confirms the message, assesses remaining work, and proceeds with focused resolve.
After receiving Sītā’s token and instructions, Hanumān feels successful and mentally sets course back toward the northern direction where Rāma and allies await.
Hanumān’s efficiency, composure, and strategic mindfulness—acting with joy yet staying focused on what remains.
