Sita’s Dharmic Admonition to Ravana
अपनेष्यति मां भर्ता त्वत्तः शीघ्रमरिन्दमः।।।।असुरेभ्यः श्रियं दीप्तां विष्णुस्त्रिभिरिव क्रमैः।
apaneṣyati māṃ bhartā tvattaḥ śīghram arindamaḥ | asurebhyaḥ śriyaṃ dīptāṃ viṣṇus tribhir iva kramaiḥ ||
Ako’y agad na babawiin ng aking asawa, ang manlulupig ng mga kaaway, mula sa iyo—gaya ni Viṣṇu na sa tatlong hakbang ay inagaw ang maningning na kapalaran mula sa mga asura.
"My husband, the subduer of enemies, will soon take me away just as Lord Visnu in the form of Vamana took away the glowing prosperity from the demons with three strides.
Illegitimate possession cannot endure; dharma restores what is rightfully protected, returning stolen wellbeing to its rightful sphere.
Sītā affirms her certainty of rescue and frames it as a cosmic pattern: divine order reclaiming what adharma seized.
