Narinig namin nang buo ang ginawa roon ni Jaṭāyu—ang haring buwitre—na isinagawa dahil sa pag-ibig at debosyon upang mapasaya si Vaidehī (Sītā).
'We have heard in detail about the task accomplished by Jatayu, the king of vultures, in order to please Sita, the princess of Videha.
Dharma here is protective righteousness: Jatāyu chooses to defend Sītā, acting from compassion and duty rather than self-interest.
The vānara search party recounts what they have heard about Jatāyu’s intervention during Sītā’s abduction, as part of their exchange with the vulture Sampāti.
Jatāyu’s selfless courage and devotion—he acts to help Sītā even at great personal cost.
