सप्तचत्वारिंशः सर्गः — वानरयूथपानां अन्वेषणवृत्तान्तनिवेदनम्

तदहः प्रथमं कृत्वा मासे प्रश्रवणं गताः।कपिराजेन सङ्गम्य निराशाः कपियूधपाः।।4.47.6।।
tad ahaḥ prathamaṁ kṛtvā māse praśravaṇaṁ gatāḥ |
kapirājena saṅgamya nirāśāḥ kapiyūdhapāḥ || 4.47.6 ||
Nang malampasan ang unang araw at magpatuloy nang isang buwan, ang mga pinuno ng mga pangkat ng unggoy ay nagtungo sa Prasravaṇa; at nang makatagpo ang hari ng mga kapi, sila’y nawalan ng pag-asa, sapagkat walang bakas ni Sītā.
