सुग्रीवस्य शतवलि-प्रेषणम्
Sugriva’s Commission to Satavali for the Northern Search
गभस्तिभिरिवार्कस्य स तु देशः प्रकाशते।विश्राम्यद्भिस्तपस्सिद्धैर्देवकल्पैः स्वयंप्रभैः।।।।
gabhastibhir ivārkasya sa tu deśaḥ prakāśate |
viśrāmyadbhis tapas-siddhair devakalpaiḥ svayaṃprabhaiḥ ||
Ngunit ang lupaing yaon ay nagniningning na wari’y sinisinagan ng mga sinag ng araw, sapagkat doon nagpapahinga ang mga asetikong kusang nagliliwanag—mga tulad-diyos, ganap sa bisa ng matinding tapasya.
'Passing that region you will reach a mountain stream called Sailoda. On both the banks of the stream are bamboo groves called Kichakas. They waft the siddhas to and from the river. (Kichakas bend forward forming an arch and thus help sages to cross the river.)
