किन्नु तत्कारणं सुभ्रु प्रकृत्या मृदुमानसः।सरोष इव सम्प्राप्तो येनायं राघवानुजः।।।।

Transliteration

kinnu tatkāraṇaṃ subhru prakṛtyā mṛdumānasaḥ | saroṣa iva samprāpto yenāyaṃ rāghavānujaḥ ||

Translation

“O magandang-kilay, ano kaya ang dahilan? Sa likas ay mahinahon ang puso ng nakababatang kapatid ni Rāma, subalit ngayo’y dumating siya na wari’y may galit.”
