Sa tarangkahan, naroon ang mga hari—malalaking katawan at dakilang lakas; nang makita si Lakṣmaṇa, silang lahat ay tumindig na magkayakap ang palad sa paggalang.
Righteous Lakshmana crossed the seven enclosures filled with different kinds of people and saw a great harem full of several bright gold and silver cots, excellent seats here and there with best of cushions spread.
Dharma as respectful conduct: even powerful guardians uphold courtesy and proper reception (satkāra) toward a noble guest.
Lakṣmaṇa arrives at Sugrīva’s residence; the vānara gate-guards recognize him and greet him formally at the entrance.
Discipline and reverence in service—strength is shown as controlled and aligned with etiquette rather than aggression.
