लक्ष्मणक्रोधः सुग्रीवप्रबोधनं च
Lakshmana’s Wrath and the Summoning of Sugriva
नखदंष्ट्रायुधा घोरास्सर्वे विकृतदर्शनाः।।सर्वे शार्दूलदर्पाश्च सर्वे च विकृताननाः।
nakhadaṃṣṭrāyudhā ghorāḥ sarve vikṛtadarśanāḥ | sarve śārdūladarpāś ca sarve ca vikṛtānanāḥ ||
Kakila-kilabot silang lahat—may sandatang mga kuko at pangil—nakapanghihilakbot pagmasdan; lahat ay may yabang na gaya ng tigre, at lahat ay may mababangis at baluktot na mukha.
The monkeys, their faces, deformed, their nails and teeth like weapons were dreadful and horrifying in appearance, proud as tigers;
Power without restraint can become intimidating; dharma requires that strength be governed by rightful purpose and wise leadership.
The text describes the formidable monkey forces assembling in response to the approaching Lakṣmaṇa.
Martial courage—though presented as raw, fearsome capability awaiting direction.
