The Monsoon Description and Rama’s Counsel on Timing
घनोपगूढं गगनं सतारंन भास्करो दर्शनमभ्युपैति।नवैर्जलौघैर्धरणी विसृप्तातमो विलिप्ता न दिशः प्रकाशाः।।
ghanopagūḍhaṃ gaganaṃ satāraṃ na bhāskaro darśanam abhyupaiti | navair jalaughair dharaṇī visṛptā tamo-viliptā na diśaḥ prakāśāḥ ||
Kapag ang langit ay nababalot ng makakapal na ulap na may mga bituin, hindi sumisipat ang araw ni ang mga tala. Ang lupa’y wari’y dumudulas sa ilalim ng sariwang agos ng tubig, at ang mga dako’y hindi maliwanag—pinahiran ng dilim.
