The Monsoon Description and Rama’s Counsel on Timing
इमास्ता मन्मथवतां हिताः प्रतिहता दिशः।अनुलिप्ता इव घनैर्नष्टग्रहनिशाकराः।।
imās tā manmathavatāṁ hitāḥ pratihatā diśaḥ |
anuliptā iva ghanair naṣṭagrahaniśākarāḥ || 4.28.13 ||
Ang mga panig na ito, na wari’y hinarangan at pinahiran ng siksik na ulap—kaya’t naglalaho maging ang mga bituin at ang buwan—ay sinasabing mapalad sa mga pusong tinamaan ng pag-ibig.
'O Saumitri! look at the kutaja flowers standing on the mountain slopes withered by the heat. They welcome the fresh showers of rain and rekindle passion in me even though my heart is overwhelmed with grief.
