वालिवधोत्तरशोकः
Sugriva’s Remorse and Tara’s Lament after Vali’s Death
त्वं वेत्थ यावद्वनिताविहीनःप्राप्नोति दुःखं पुरुषः कुमारः।तत्त्वं प्रजानन् जहि मां न वालीदुःखं ममादर्शनजं भजेत।।
tvaṃ vettha yāvad vanitāvihīnaḥ prāpnoti duḥkhaṃ puruṣaḥ kumāraḥ | tattvaṃ prajānan jahi māṃ na vālī duḥkhaṃ mamādarśanajaṃ bhajet ||
Alam mo kung gaano karaming hapis ang dinaranas ng isang lalaki kapag nawalay sa kanyang asawa. Dahil alam mo ang katotohanang ito, patayin mo ako, upang hindi tiisin ni Vāli ang sakit na dulot ng hindi niya pagkakita sa akin.
'You are aware of the grief of a young man separated from his wife. Kill me so that I can go to Vali. Let not Vali experience the sorrow of not seeing me.
