Tārā’s Lament over Vāli

इष्ट्वा सङ्ग्रामयज्ञेन रामप्रहरणाम्भसि।अस्मिन्नवभृथे स्नातः कथं पत्न्या मया विना।।

iṣṭvā saṅgrāmayajñena rāmapraharaṇāmbhasi | asminn avabhṛthe snātaḥ kathaṃ patnyā mayā vinā ||

Matapos mong ialay ang digmaan bilang isang yajña, at maligo sa tubig ng sandata ni Rāma na parang pangwakas na paligong avabhṛtha—paano ka naligo nang wala ako, ang iyong asawa?
